The Nikon SB700 Flash Speedlight is a mid-range flash that should appeal to most users looking for a high quality, high functioning, yet still affordable unit. The SB-700 was introduced in December of 2010 and has since become a huge hit among shoppers, scoring great average scores in aggregated Nikon SB700 reviews and consumer reports. It is sure to take some sales away from the slightly aging Nikon SB900 monster released 3 years ago This mid-range offering is jam packed with features and functionality, and remains easy to use despite sophisticated and advanced abiligits. It is a more than welcome addition to the speedlight family being a major upgrade when you compare it vs the SB600 of 2004, and much cheaper yet nearly as powerful when you compare the SB700 and SB900 (Nikons flagship and powerhouse flash accessory) In summary, if you are looking for a versatile, affordable, yet powerful flash, check out the lowest and best Nikon SB700 prices and price comparison buttons below, because it sounds like the Speedlight SB-700 Flash unit is what you are looking for! “I held off on purchasing an SB-900 for the longest time, having read a number of negative reviews on overheating and size. I finally bit the bullet and can say I should have jumped sooner. Nikon have another winner with unbelievable performance, and importantly, handling. The flash is easy to use, with dedicated switching for master/slave configuration, and the inclusion of a diffuser and gels is a bonus. I haven’t experienced any of the overheating issues mentioned by others, and the flash is still a brute in terms of size, which is why I rated it a 4. But you can’t go wrong if you want a fully-featured top-of-the-line speedlight.”
